Inspired, Design Week, 14th May 2009
Inspired is a weekly feature in Design Week. It aims to highlight what inspires designers to create work. The division introduces a project we completed some time ago investigating the issue of cable management in our homes and offices.

As part of the 2008 UKTI Trade Mission to Japan, the division’s 3D product identity seminar was presented at the Ambassador’s Tokyo Residence, followed by Afternoon Tea complete with scones and clotted cream.
Think globally act locally
Along with Mario Bellini, the division were asked to review a new book published in both English and Japanese that celebrates the work of 14 young Japanese designers, exploring their special connection with Japanese culture and traditions but working, living and studying globally.
